Don Valley Stadium
The Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield opened in 1990 and was the venue for the 1991 World Student Games. It had a 25000 seating capacity for athletics and later held music concerts up to a 50000 capacity.
Iconic performers such as The Rolling Stones, U2, Celine Dion and Bon Jovi played sell out shows at the Stadium. Below the main grandstand was a flood lit running track with the six flood lights rising 45 metres above.
